BOILER INSTALLATIONS

When installing a new boiler we upgrade your radiator valves to thermostatic ones to increase efficiency and give you more control over the system.
Before we install a new boiler into your heating system we make sure it is free from sludge and sediment, we do this by powerflushing. Magnetic filters are also added to the system to help protect you new boiler and save you from costly repair bills. Once the installation is complete chemical inhibitor is added to protect the system.
POWERFLUSHING
Powerflushing is a machine which pumps chemicals around the system freeing sludge from the inside of the radiators and pipework. Any sludge that is then flushed through is dumped and dirty water is replenished with fresh water. However this can be quite wasteful and time consuming so we go one step further by combining the Powerflush machine with 2 powerful magnetic filters to capture the sediment, therefore this reduces the amount of dumps needed and makes your system even cleaner.

The engineer will add a corrosion inhibitor to protect your central heating system in future years. It will prevent internal corrosion and deterioration, sludge formation, scale deposition and boiler noises.
WHAT IS A BOILER SERVICE?
A boiler service will include of a full check of a gas boiler. The engineer will assess the physical condition of the boiler, installation pipework, air vents and any flues for wear and tear. They will carry out performance tests and take any necessary remedial action.
Boilers should be serviced regularly. Servicing your gas boiler regularly will make sure they are safe to use. It will also maintain your boiler efficiency, performance and also some boiler makes such as Valliant require an annual service to validate the warranty.
SIGNS THAT YOUR APPLIANCES NEED SERVICING?
Gas Boilers should be serviced regularly but if you notice any of the warning signs below you should arrange for a Gas Safe registered engineer to service your appliance as soon as possible:
- Your gas appliance is not working properly
- Your appliance is burning with a lazy yellow flame instead of a crisp blue flame
- You can see black marks or stains on or around your gas appliances
- The pilot light keeps going out
- There is increased condensation in the room
Carbon monoxide poisoning can be fatal and is caused by faulty or poorly maintained appliances. It is vital that you get your boiler and gas appliances inspected and serviced annually to make sure they are working as safely and efficiently as possible.

- Check gas burner pressure
- Check Co2 and Co levels with a Combustion Analyser
- Check flue
Visual check of appliance seals and casing- Flame picture check

- Check expansion vessel and pressure relief valve

- Operational check
